Installation of the GNU Debugger gdb
The gdb debugger is available for Linux, Windows and OS-X. However, this article only refers to the Windows installation.
The “GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain” includes the gdb debugger. The gdb is precompiled for a Windwos x86 host computer and an ARM target. The toolchain can be downloaded here.
The archive must then be unpacked to a local hard disk.
